India Under Three Year Rule of Modi Government
Narendra Modi government has completed the three year in the office. It is interesting to note the changes brought by them and how much they have been able to fulfill their election promises. Modi government is not rightest or nor leftist government. It can be term the government with practical approaches
They have dismantled the 65 year old Planing Commission and created 'Niti Aayog'.  They have continued the all old welfare schemes of previous government under new names.
However Modi government has encouraged the foreign investment in many sectors which has increased the foreign investment up to 46.5 Billion Dollars in the year 2017. The inflation rate quite below then in the time of previous government i.e. about 6%.The Modi government has also encouraged foreign investment under defense sector in order to make country self sufficient in the field of arm supply. The import has decreased in spite of free trade policies of the government. The government has exercised fiscal discipline which has brought fiscal deficit from 4.9 % to 3.5 %. Besides that the 12.4% of Indian population is living on poverty as per the daily expenses standard of World Bank.
The 'NPA' of the Banks are on higher side and it has reached to Rupees Eleven Lakh Crore. The well intentended government decision of demonetization could not get desired amount of Black Money from Economy. The growth of employment is not as desired. Besides that industrialization is not that much fast which can compensate Agriculture Sector.
It will be interesting to watch the next two years in respect of Economical Developments of India.
